It’s Getting Hot Out There

Holy summer weather, Batman! I got in my car today after work, and it told me the temperature is 27 degree Celsius. Crazy! And I think it’s supposed to stay that way throughout the weekend into next week. Good for the BBQ I’ll be hitting up on Sunday, and I’m pretty sure this means I’ll be out on at least one bike ride this weekend 😀

So of course at work, I got the whole “Oh, why didn’t you come to breakfast?” spiel, as was expected. I was completely fine with not going, but I guess that’s not okay for some people. Oh well, they’ll get over it.

My lunch was a lovely selection of eats. It started with the leftover pizza from last night – bacon, pineapple, onion, mushroom, mozza.

Uber-ripe cantaloupe and some strawberries.

A few cucumber slices, to add a little green, and use up the end of the cucumber.

And my current favourite yogurt mess – yogurt, lemon curd, flax seed, and coconut.

All together now!

Now I’m not too sure what to do with myself this evening. I don’t really feel like cooking, but I’m not craving anything in particular to order take out. I do know that I’m going to take a walk later on, because it’s just too nice of a night to not get out there and enjoy it! I’ll be back later with whatever I end up with for dinner. Enjoy your Friday evening 🙂

Mmm, that pizza looks super yummy! A great lunch indeed. Do something super simple for dinner. And enjoy the pretty weather! Sorry I haven’t been around as much; my friend has been in town for the past week, so I haven’t been able to comment/use the computer much!

Your packed lunches always looks so fancy and perfect!

I’m a little jealous of your hot weather. Today was nice here but more on the chilly side… I was wearing a sweatshirt for a good portion of the day! Come on summer!

Yep, they’ll definitely get over it. If you didn’t want to go, you shouldn’t have had to. I probably wouldn’t have gone, either! That yogurt mess looks great! Have a good night 🙂

Leftover pizza is always a winner! Too bad I’m out of flat outs because now I’m craving a flat out pizza!
