This Is Going To Be One Long Week

I don’t know if I’m ever going to get caught up on all the work on my desk! There are quite a few people away from work, at a fisheries conference in Maine, so I’m getting alot of phone calls that normally would go to other people. If they would just quit phoning, I could get some real work done! And I should be starting some serious training for people to take over my job when I leave, but I’m not quite sure where I’ll fit that in.

Speaking of – I gave my letter to my boss today, and it has now been passed on to HR. Apparently the “office email” will be out Wednesday morning, to allow me time to tell anyone I want to on an individual basis. I can only imagine what Wednesday is going to be like!

Lunch was a simple affair, starting with a chicken bunwich – roasted chicken on a cheddar herb bun, with a little butter & pepper. This was my favourite way to eat leftover chicken as a kid, in a sandwich with butter, salt, and pepper.

Some “Nicer” Krispy Squares – here’s a hint, one of the secret ingredients is macadamia nut butter 😉

Plus an apple, carrots, cucumber, and roasted red pepper hummus.

Between the hummus and the herb cheddar bun, man, I was sporting some wicked garlic breath. Oops! I’m sure my office mate was ever so appreciative.

Now I’m going to go put my legs up to rest after my bike ride home, and think about dinner. Peace out 😎
