Pain In The…

…I’m sure you can guess

Seriously, I am pretty damn sore from all the work we did at Skating Boot Camp last night. I was feelin’ it all day. Hopefully it won’t hinder my biking tomorrow!

I hadn’t had a simple bowl of cereal for breakfast for awhile, so that’s what was on the menu this morning.

I topped a bowl full of Kashi GoLean Crunch with fresh raspberries, Saskatoon berries, and coconut.

With the usual breakfast beverage – Happy Planet Mango Peach Party.

Why do I not put fresh berries in cold cereal more often? It was lovely!

Work is pretty busy these days, and not even because I’m training anyone in my job. I actually don’t know where I’ll get the time for that in the next two weeks, but I’m sure they will make it a priority. At least it makes the day go by fast – although, I was totally convinced that it felt like a Friday today.

I brought a big lunch full of great flavours today

A salad of the best local red leaf lettuce, cucumber, carrot, and sunflower seeds.

Cottage cheese with black pepper – classic.

Corn thins! Multigrain ones even.

An Apple Pie Larabar.

food 4702

The kiwi that I didn’t eat yesterday.

Plus some Urban Fare Cranberry & 3 Peppercorn Vinaigrette for the salad, and roasted red pepper hummus for the corn thins.

I got so busy at work though, I neglected the poor kiwi again today! So I made sure to consume him when I got home, instead of rummaging through the cupboards for a bite to eat

Here’s a question to all my wonderful readers – how have you been finding my photography lately? It’s been weird getting used to a point & shoot digital camera again, not needing to look through a view finder, figuring out what features work best. I find for some aspects, it’s almost better than my DSLR, especially for close ups and low light situations. It really makes me want to go out and buy that Canon SD960 that I’ve been eyeing up. But I’ve gotta hold out – I want to get the salesperson to give me a good deal on all the camera accessories I’ll need! LOL.

Well, time to create something fantabulous for dinner. Later!

I love your pictures! You know I fully approve of that CC 🙂

Call me crazy but feeling sore is the BEST!! I love it! Once when I was still training one of our trainers worked our abs so hard that it hurt to laugh for two days – couldn’t get enough!
