Lazy, Lazy Day

Starting with some serious sleep in time. I could NOT fall asleep last night. My mind was going a mile a minute for no good reason. Don’t you hate when you can’t turn off your brain when all you want to do is sleep?

When I finally found myself out of bed, I made the quickest breakfast I know – cereal.

Just a simple bowl of Nature’s Path Pumpkin Raisin Crunch cereal with 1% milk. I can really tell the difference between skim and 1% milk – you wouldn’t think there would be much, but I notice it for sure. And it’s not a bad thing.

Guess who’s back?

That’s right – Happy Planet Mango Peach Party is back in the house! Woot! Just for you, VeggieGirl

That sunny juice was definitely needed to brighten up an otherwise dreary, rainy day   Looks like fall is starting to settle in. Just in time for back to school, of course.

I eventually thought about having a mini lunch. In true lazy day spirit, I went for leftovers.

Leftover Mediterranean Veggie Pizza. What else would you expect?

I grabbed the biggest slice left, since I only wanted one. Gotta make it count! I also picked off all those nasty olives. Next time I will remember to order no olives, and see if they can sub in some mushrooms instead. Yum!

My mom and I took a trip down to the mall this afternoon, as I needed a couple things. Bad idea! That place was insane. Long weekend before school starts + rainy weather = whole city at the mall. We managed to get out of there with what we needed, relatively unharmed.

I was in need of a little something something when we got back, so I pulled out one of those Farmer’s Market sunrise apples   Still delicious.

I’m hoping we go back to the market tomorrow to get some more – they are so good!

Turns out, I need to run some more errands for my mom now. I’ll be back later – with a surprise!

Hey errand running is no lazy day, at least you’re getting some things done!

And I definitely appreciate 2% yogurt over non-fat…so creamy and good.

    Oooohhhh…love surprises!

I just bought a 5lb sack of Sunrise apples. I’m told they’re similar to a Honey Crisp which I adore. I’ll be digging into one tomorrow…

“Don’t you hate when you can’t turn off your brain when all you want to do is sleep?” Um, YES!

Dtown and Vancouver are polar opposites in terms of weather. You guys have nice, hot days and we get rain and clouds. We have nice days and you guys don’t – funny how that works!
