Just One

Just one meal for you today folks! I had unexpected lunch and dinner occasions arise today, so all I’ve got for you today is breakfast, basking in the sunshine.

I love when the Greek yogurt container only has enough for one serving left. That way I don’t have to dirty another dish 🙂 Just throw the frozen blueberries and granola in there, and it’s ready to go!

Oh, and a wee dab of raspberry jam, because it wasn’t worth leaving in the jar…

…as I had used the rest of the jam, along with some peanut butter, to top my toasted Ezekiel English muffin.

So not only did I finish off the jam, and this container of Greek yogurt, but I also had the last glass of Happy Planet Clean Green juiceDoes anyone else get immense satisfaction from clearing out a bunch of containers in the fridge?

Great way to start the day.

Since it was such a beautiful day out, I took the opportunity to go for a walk after breakfast. By the time I got home, showered, and got ready, I had to head out. I was meeting my cousin’s wife to go get our eyebrows threaded. Confession: aside from some random tweezing, I’ve never shaped my eyebrows in any way. I don’t exactly have a uni-brow or anything, but I kinda wanted to give them a little more shape. It was an interesting experience, but I’m happy with the results 🙂

Afterwards, she suggested we grab some lunch, and take it back to their place. We picked up Subway for my cousin, and ended up at A&W for our lunch. As much as I love a good sub, I don’t eat Subway. I can’t stand their food. Not that what I had was exactly a better option, but there weren’t alot of places to choose from. Plus they have onion rings. Love me some onion rings! Which I had with a side of chicken burger. But we did balance it out with some juicy fresh cantaloupe for dessert!

I made my way back home just in time to get changed and head up to work. Alas, I wasn’t lucky enough to get sent home early today, so I had to work through the 1st period of the hockey game. Although, as it turns out, I didn’t exactly need to get home, since my Canucks were definitely far from victorious. Le sigh.

But all was not lost – my cousin and his wife came up for dinner and the game, and the family had ordered pizza from Pizza Hut. You all know what pizza hut pizza looks like – picture a couple slices with a couple breadsticks, and you’ll have my dinner all figured out. Or look back at some of the other times we’ve had pizza.

So if you forget about the debacle of a hockey game, today was pretty awesome if you ask me! But now I must sleep – working in the AM. Night!
