Midnight Musings

1. My parents got back from their trip to Egypt and Jordan last night. I asked them to bring me back a tagine. Instead I got jewellery.

My dad also brought back Cheez Balls from Jordan. I tried some. I don’t recommend them.

2. Honeycrisp apples are overrated.

Sure it was tasty and all, but not worth the $1.71 price tag.

3. Sometimes you plate up your lunch…

…only to find it staring back at you with its tongue sticking out.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who sees that.

4. Sometimes packaged food…

actually looks pretty damn close to the picture on the package.

5. Banana bread is good. Double chocolate banana bread with peanut butter is better.

I completely agree with you about the honeycrisp apples! I had my first one a couple days ago and while it tasted good, I wasn’t impressed and couldn’t understand would pay for something that doesn’t taste THAT fabulous and is the size of my head. Okay, not the size of my head but pretty close.. I’m not a fan of big apples, haha.

Marianne, honeycrisps are SO worth it! 😉 But then again, I’m not a huge apple fan so when I find a variety I like…..

I see the tongue! Too funny.

    Have a great weekend!

Re: the face… you’re not alone. I totally see it too.

As for the honeycrisps, I just think you had a bad one! I had a pretty weak one today but I swear, in general, they are the best apples EVER.
