A Home-Cooked Meal

It seems like I never have the chance to sit down and enjoy a proper home-cooked meal anymore. I’m always in transit, at school, at work, or elsewhere.

So when I get the chance to relax, sit at the table with my family, and feast on a Sunday dinner prepared by my mom, I make sure to enjoy it. And take a few photos.

There are no recipes. Just a plate full of good, honest food – pork roast, caramelized apples, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed carrots and green beans.

Gotta make sure to take it all in, because who knows when the stars will align again for another night such as this.

When was your last sit down Sunday-style dinner?

I can’t even tell you when the last sit down Sunday dinner was for me. Isn’t that sad? 😦

Unfortunately, lately the Husband has been off when I’ve been at work. So I eat my meals by myself. Usually near the television or at the table while reading blogs.

lol Man that sounds pathetic! 😛

My husband is in charge of Sunday dinner. We sit down each week to a more elaborate meal on Sundays, I am in charge of the weekday 30 minute meals.
