Today is my 32nd birthday. So while I’m out celebrating, I thought I would entertain you with some photos of birthdays long forgotten. Think of it as my gift to you on this special day 🙂
My 2nd Birthday
Yeah, I pretty much had the coolest cake ever. Cookie Monster, complete with neon blue icing and cookie sticking out of his mouth. Take that Ace of Cakes!
Even at 2, I knew it was important to celebrate your birthday with a cold drink.
Kiddie pools and beer. You can’t go wrong.
My 3rd Birthday
All dressed up and ready to party!
If only I had a cocktail in my hand in that photo…
Seems I got two birthday parties when I turned 3. I must have been a good kid!
I don’t think I’ll be rockin’ the yellow romper again any time soon.
Also note the spectacular wallpaper in our kitchen. I wish that was still there.
My 4th birthday.
Pool party in the big pool!
My mom is going to love me for posting her in that sexy striped dress and those glasses.
Thumbs up for presents!
Thumbs down to bowl cuts.
My 5th Birthday
“Okay, no one look at the camera!”. My sister didn’t get that memo.
And here we all are, posing with the cake.
Too bad my sister is completely hidden by the cake. Also note the Budweiser on the table – probably mine.
My 6th Birthday
My first birthday with friends from school!
I have no idea why mom thought this hairstyle was a good idea. I also had no idea I was able to get that tanned.
I like this photo because my dog Pepper is in it.
And it gives you a good look at our shag carpeting and wood panelling. Our house was awesome!
My 9th Birthday (apparently my parents deemed me too unphotogenic to capture my 7th and 8th on film)
ALF ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. It’s the only in focus picture there was. But really, that about sums it up anyways doesn’t it?
Alrighty – I’m off to don a party hat and find myself a cold beverage. Regular posting shall resume Monday, featuring my Vancouver Food Truck tour with Jill.
PS – You know what would be the best birthday present you could give me? Go and like french fries to flax seeds on Facebook. Thanks!
